On the night of 27th November, as part of The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project, 14 countries are pairing up to exchange the best of their local nightlife as voted by a global community of more than two million people.
So, for instance, USA are swapping nights with England, meaning Pharrell Williams and N*E*R*D will be heading to London while Blighty will be sending something typically English to Miami in return (maybe a terrible football team and a penchant for always talking about the weather). Brazil’s funk-influenced electro pop group Bonde do Role will hit Sydney and Germany’s techno sensation Monika Kruse will be taking to the stage in Cape Town.
Here's the full list of swaps:
Australia – SYDNEY swaps with Brazil – SÃO PAULO
Argentina – BUENOS AIRES swaps with Ireland – DUBLIN
Canada – TORONTO swaps with India - BANGALORE
Great Britain – LONDON swaps with USA - MIAMI
Germany – BERLIN swaps with South Africa - CAPE TOWN
Lebanon – BEIRUT swaps with Thailand - BANGKOK
Poland – WARSAW swaps with Venezuela - CARACAS
Meanwhile, BobbySix.com is heading to Asia to check out some what is happening in Bangkok in the build-up to their swap with Beirut, before going to the big Canadian party in Bangalore on the 27th. Keep an eye on BobbySix.com for all the latest from this exciting project, as well, of course, as the usual amount of reviews, news and wotnot.
