Nirvana Live At The Paramount to hit big screens across Australia

When I was about 15, Nirvana changed my life. Yeah yeah. Yadda yadda. Yawn yawn. But seriously. When I saw the Teen Spirit video on MTV late one night round a friend's house, I connected. If you ever saw me stomping down the street in DM's, ripped jeans and wearing a short-sleeved top over a long-sleeved top, blame Kurt and the boys. And let's not even talk about the haircut.

Anyway, even though everyone always pretends that In Utero is their best record (it's the cool thing to say - you should never admit to liking a band's most poppy and biggest-selling LP) the simple truth is that Nevermind is one of the best albums ever. Exactly twenty years on, the songs still stand up. Indeed, time has been kind to them. They sound even better now than they did back then.

To celebrate the album that defined a generation, there is an exclusive CinemaLive screening of the never before seen Live At The Paramount for one night only 9pm AEST, Friday September 23rd across Australia. Recorded at Seattle's Paramount Theatre, the concert was Nirvana's first big homecoming show, at the height of the hype surrounding Nevermind. Exactly twenty years to the day since the release of their seminal album, Live At The Paramount will have its worldwide premiere, live via satellite around Australia. The screening will be the first and only chance to experience the concert on the big screen. Each ticket will include a copy of the Double CD 20th Anniversary Deluxe edition of Nevermind, featuring 40 tracks including rarities, studio outtakes and live stuff.  It's too good to miss, right? Right. Ticket price is $35 BOOK NOW FOOLS.
