Remember the exact moment when you first fell in love with The Shins? And, before you pretend that you are super indie and took a chance on their debut album after hearing it in a backstreet second-hand record shop in Berlin, we all know that it was watching that bit in Garden State.
Well, while Zach Braff has proved himself to be a bit of a douche in the intervening years, The Shins are still as loveable and brilliant as they ever were. For proof, check the heck out of their new song. It's Only Life might be a little more ruminative than some earlier outings, but it's quite beautiful and boasts a great video clip. So, you know, hooray.
